What counterparties usually ask

What does Atlantean Energeia trade?

Crude oil, refined petroleum products, LNG, LPG and petrochemicals, together with maritime services and support for energy infrastructure projects. The company is registered with the DMCC Authority.

Does the company own vessels, terminals or storage?

No. Vessels, terminals, storage and inspection are provided by independent companies. We coordinate them for each transaction under the agreed delivery terms.

How do you approach counterparty due diligence?

Before any commitment we establish the identity and ownership of the counterparty and the origin of the oil and of the funds, and we screen every party, vessel and cargo against the sanctions that apply to our business.

Are the company's accounts audited?

Yes. The annual financial statements are prepared under International Financial Reporting Standards and audited by independent auditors registered in the United Arab Emirates.

Will you ever ask for an advance fee?

No. We do not ask counterparties to pay fees in advance for documents, allocations or procedures. If you receive such a request in our name, please contact us before taking any action.
