Compliance

How we manage compliance

01

Counterparty due diligence

Before entering a relationship we establish the identity, ownership and standing of the counterparty and the origin of the oil and of the funds involved. We review this information periodically.
02

Sanctions

We screen counterparties, vessels and cargoes against the sanctions that apply to our business. We do not trade with sanctioned parties or in cargoes of sanctioned origin.
03

Anti bribery and corruption

We do not offer, give or accept bribes, facilitation payments or improper advantages, directly or through others.
04

Anti money laundering

Payments are made through regulated banks and correspond to documented transactions. We do not accept cash or payments from unrelated third parties.
05

Records

We keep complete records of each transaction, including contracts, shipping documents, inspection certificates and payment records.
06

Confidentiality

Commercial information received from counterparties is used only for the transaction concerned.
